That is basically where I would put them, in that 10-15 range. If we didn't have questions on our line an a new d coordinator I would say put us higher but that is a good enough position that we can make a legitimate run at the natl championship if we get our ducks in a row.

Until I see our offensive line knock a decent D-line off the ball in short yardage, I don't think we should even be in the top 25. Last season when even one offensive lineman was out with an injury, we fell apart. Now we have almost all new starters on the O-line. I just can't forget Alabama manhandling our young O-line in 2008.

glaring factor that his holding back my optimism for next season. We clearly have the best group of receivers in the nation. With the right amount of blocking & an improved defense, we should be favorites to defend the title...
The credibility of any poll that fails to seriously consider this weakness in rating us should be questioned.
Unfortunately, what I have observed compels me to believe that our o-line just isn't ready to provide what we need to win another championship next season. I usually error on the side of optimism, but I'm bracing myself for a repeat of 2008. I hope that I am completely and utterly wrong! I hope that the O-line will completely shock me from game one on!
Either way, I'll be at every game, pulling for us to maximize every bit of our potential in all facets of the game! GO TIGERS!

Well if we do what we need to do and have some luck and a few teams we beat stay ranked we could go to the bcs nc. Wasnt Aub ranked like 23 the first week when they won?

It was pretty low. I'm not certain of the rank exactly or if they were JUST outside the top 25 when they started that season.

I believe they started at 18. THey also ran through the SEC west and beat LSU, Alabama, and Ark. They were truly unbeatable with the number of comebacks they made. I thought we had them dead to rights

Yea we pretty much came apart after that...Parker never was the same and seemed to get worse as the season went on

I swear pre season polls get worse and worse every year. They dont really put real time and thought into these at all.

They are always top 10 preseason. Don't think they will be in the top 20 after it's all said and done.

This is 2012, not 2002.
I'll believe FSU is a top 50 team - much less a top 10 team - when they prove they can consistently beat Wake Forest. But not until then.
