You can tell who wants it and who doesn't

Williams #99 is always running hard. Bellamy has the fire in him and looks like he is going to be an asset this year, he might have even put on some weight.

Good to see AE out there again, I was wondering where he went. Martin Jenkins is a firey CB.

I also liked how Venables called out Sammy. No special treatment. Treat them the same and hold them all accountably. I'm glad how he pulled Sammy to the side and told him where he messed up at and that he should take it slow and get it right rather than go fast and make mistakes. If he is that much of a stickler to doing it right then he'll do fine.

Everytime I see Bellamy in the workouts he looks like......

Feb 28, 2012, 4:06 PM

he has a fire to prove ppl wrong that we didnt see much of last year.

I hope he does prove us wrong. We have all been doubted about whether we could do something, it sucks. I think Bellamy finally realized he is an incredibly talented athlete and he could be throwing it away by not hitting the gym hard and working hard on the practice field and in the classroom. I think him and AE could be a deadly combo this year out of the backfield.

Hope Bellamy is able to shine this year

Ellington and Bellamy is like being hit by a punch and then a haymaker. Add in Howard and maybe Brooks, though I would like for Brooks to RS, and you have a loaded backfield. AE should not have to play so many snaps this year.

62 is Shatley?

Feb 28, 2012, 4:12 PM

Correct? I think someone said "Let's go Shat" in the beginning and he was following Freeman and I know "Shat" isn't Dalton Freeman.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's right

Feb 28, 2012, 4:22 PM

he's projected to be the starting RG.

The definition of awesome!

Someone who I think jumps off the screen

Feb 28, 2012, 5:22 PM

But has seen barely seen the field is Vic Beasley.

Re: Someone who I think jumps off the screen

Feb 28, 2012, 7:37 PM

He has a really good frame for a defensive end. Along with his apparent athleticism, Vic could be the next Andre Branch (Low star recruit out of high school that becomes an nfl quality player)

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I expect big things out

Feb 29, 2012, 12:56 AM

of vic beasley....he just needed to get settled into a position

Yes... Vic Beasley looks like he's ready to bring the pain.

Mike Bellamy is the most talented athlete on our

roster. It's really not even close. Jaw droppin quicks. Please put it all together Mike. Our opponents are in for a heap of trouble when you do.

Bellamy is one of the fastest guys I have ever seen at Clemson. When he gets it together he's gonna' make defenses look stupid.

Are these voluntary drills or part of the official scheduled practices?

You know you've raised a real tiger fan when you ask your son what he wants his cub scout pinewood derby car to be and he says a Tiger!

I hope Humphries will play a bigger role this year

Feb 28, 2012, 11:14 PM

Dude reminds me of Grisham who was one of my favorite clutch receivers of recent memory.

Just watched this video again since I wasn't really paying attention the first time. I feel like the reason Bellamy looks so good is not only because he is actually trying his hardest (or at least appearing to), but because he has such perfect form. He explodes up, driving his knees and opening his stride as much as possible. This is textbook sprinting technique and is definitely a good thing to have for being the type of running back he is. Hoping this kid really pulls it out this Spring and does great things for the rest of his career.

Did it bother anyonelse that #98

Feb 29, 2012, 12:53 AM

appeared to half ### the drill at end and stopped short

I think it's just because they blew the whistle which problably means they're changing stations or drills.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I noticed it too, and even if he knew drills were about to

Feb 29, 2012, 1:21 PM [ in reply to Did it bother anyonelse that #98 ]

change, he still needs to work hard through the entire drill. They're not out there filling out time cards to get in their required hours. They are out there to improve themselves. I would've loved to see him finish the drill 100% and then move on. Easy to sit on my couch and say that, but that's the standard that champions use.
