Importance of pass protection by RBs

Check out the clips of Gallman. He has a season's worth of highlight reels from his blocking alone. Starting with the Auburn game and ending with Bama, he protected Watson or delivered him to endzone countless times.

Just showed a replay of his protection against Auburn on ESPNU. The Deon Cain screen against Bama that shifted the momentum?...Check out who hustles from behind the play to be a lead blocker down the field.

Time and time again, Gallman was there. We may have a few studs at RB, but the one who masters blocking will be the starting QB.
