Tajh Boyd ready for season

Even though the Tigers have Kyle Parker back, Tajh Boyd thinks the 2010 football season can be an extension of his growing process over the last 4 months. Full Story »

I never played football....

Aug 26, 2010, 11:16 PM

so maybe I was bit shocked when I heard Tajh talking about all the audibles and protection reads that can occur during just one play.

Pretty amazing.

This is why I've never one tried to talk about play calling on message boards, I wouldn't know a #### thing about it. LOL!

As a coach and his limited playing experience, there would be not time that I would call off the dogs against who ever he gets to play against. Even if the score is 60 to 0 and we get the ball with less than two minutes, he should run the two minute drill. He needs the experience because he will soon be the no 1 quarterback...I just hope he gets quality game experience!

Everyone better be playing at 110% at Auburn. This can be a huge win for this team in many ways.

in the background the same one now infamous at CU for yanking the voice recorder off a podium in disgust as a big recruit picked us over the coots?

Eric Sprott of the Seneca Journal and he is definitely a Clemson guy.

Boyd is almost certainly our future at QB

Aug 27, 2010, 8:44 AM

For a couple of years.

With Parker leaving early, and Korn and Richt leaving for playing time, we have a pretty empty stable at QB.

It would take a really top notch guy to come in as a Fr next year and unseat Boyd. I don't think we are recruiting that guy at the moment.

So let's hope Boyd makes the most of this year and develops a lot more.

Re: Tajh Boyd ready for season

Certainly hope Tajh sees signficant playing time in the season opener. Looking at the depth cahrt the opportunity certainly should be there. If CU wide receivers can't break out in this game we could become a runnng team for sure this year. Hope Boyd can shake the desire to just wanna throw the ball and focus on taking what they give us. He needs to look at Korn and not follow him. Don't force what you think you are most comfortable with and stay cool under pressure. Hope he plays a lot and developes confidence. It could be a real bonus for the team if this occurs and for Tajh over the long haul

We already have one quarterback committed..McNeal from Chester. Is he better than Boyd..I doubt it, but at least we do have a new guy coming in to wait his turn.

I wish Tajh well - very glad he's a Tiger

Aug 30, 2010, 9:57 AM

Look forward to seeing him play and, hopefully, reaching his potential.
