all these guys produce their stuff in sweatshops in poor countries. Where they are headquartered is not a big deal.

No point, just representing the facts correctly

Not saying the sweatshops are a good thing, but obviously it is providing some kind of employment for people that probably do not have many options.

If they didn't need to work then they wouldn't. Could conditions improve, yes.

CJ has a contract with Addidas USA. Addidas USA is a subsidiary of Addidas. Addidas USA is based in Portland, Oregon...not Germany.

So are you telling me if you go to a Citibank branch in Singapore that your are dealing with a Singapore company?
Adidas is a German company, don't twist...geez. That's like saying Airbus is an American company because they have a North American HQ setup in say NYC.

Can you read?
CJ Spiller signed an endorsement contract with Addidas USA. This unit of Addidas is based in Portland, Oregon.
Addidas, the parent company, is based in Germany. Addidas has subsidiaries in several countries. No spin needed. You're just trying to get cute, but you obviously are not as informed as you think you are.

for whats its worth, The adidas Group employs ~2000 people in upstate SC. yes, their US headquarters is in portland, and group HQ in Herzo, Germany. But all of their US distribution (for adidas and all subsidiaries) is in or around Greenville. if you want to help the local economy, buy adidas/reebok/taylormade/rockport, etc.

Good for CJ. He showed incredible loyalty to Clemson

by staying 4 years. Also, he must have had intense pressure from his family to transfer to Florida - but he stayed at Clemson.
He's a great rep for Clemson and I'm glad he's being rewarded.
