I agree the defense did look good. A little worried about the middle though. Couple of times, there were some big holes there for our TEs to make some catches.

Mark May says that our O-Line sucks

Apr 13, 2008, 1:10 AM

Mark says that we will NOT go to a BCS bowl and that we have no shot at winning the ACC. And why would he say such things???? The O-Line!!!

Prove him wrong boys. This should be your motivation EVERY SINGLE DAY until we hold the ACC crown over our heads.

If history is any indication...

he'll be right. O-Line is the foundation for the entire team. Everything else dominoes from there.

Sorry, but our rushing numbers for the Spring Game seem to verify struggles there. Spiller averaged 2.5 yards per carry, Macko 3.6. And, it's not like they were going up against a Defense with a lot of experience.

I hope this isn't the case, and I hope that they can get it together and prove everyone wrong, but my expectations aren't going to be unrealistic for this season.

You are so right. Plus we are loaded with new talent. Mark May and all the naysayers can go jump.

Bottom line: W/out good O-line, look for a season similar to the last one.
