No doubt he'll be our athletic director one day...

extremely intelligent and a very hard worker. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and he is as honest as they come.

He loves Clemson with all of his heart and his wife is an alum too!

He has always been a great ambassador for Clemson and will continue to until the day he dies.

"Gamecocks aren’t ready to take college football by storm just yet. They’re not even ready to compete in their own state – Clemson will still own the territory. Gamecocks fans would be smart to keep their heads buried until that time. Avoid talking trash to a much better Clemson program.” -Dustin Tackett

Why not hire the MOST qualified person for the job?***

Dr Thurmond. If you are from Edgefield, you know the Thurmond family. Small world. I lived very close to Dr Watson when I was in High School. Much smaller home.

I have children named for family too. My daughter's fist name is McClellan and my son is Hampton. Family names are cool.

Jul 20, 2007, 4:11 PM [ in reply to Did I read that correctly? The Young's named their first ]

Jamie is the grandaughter of Dr Curly Watson, a clemson alum. Dr Watson is on his 90's and still works everday. the womens center at University Hospital in Augusta Georgia is named in his honor. The kid has a very honorable name.
