Good article otherwise.

“The best moment was on draft day when (N.C. State’s Mario Williams, Manny Lawson and John McCargo) all got picked in the first round,” said Dustin Fry. “That was kind of nice knowing we ran for 254 yards against three first-round defensive linemen.”

On the poor Chason punt: his toe dug an inch deep hole

before he kicked the ball. You could clearly see the dirt fly up on the replay.

Yep. I saw that, too. Never seen that before.***

He and Phillip Merling absolutely destroyed the Tech tackles all night. Adams recorded a sack in a school record sixth straight game and Merling got a good push time and again. Mansfield Wrotto and Andrew Gardner are probably lying in a dark corner in the fetal position sucking their thumbs right now.

I liked this one..."I left the game thinking Gaines Adams has switched his jersey to #9 and changed his last name to Ga, at least that is all I could see most of the night because the Tech players were holding him so much."

Don't forget to mention the guy on the Clemson kick receiving team who caught/kneeled 2 GT pooch kicks!

He could have easily misjudged them and let GT pick up the ball at midfield!

A minor quibble...

While I will be the first to admit Proctor didn't have a great night:

"He threw a horrible pass to Ford Clemson’s lone bubble screen"...may not tell the whole story. After watching the game 3 or 4 more times, Jacoby stumbled a bit on his route and was not exactly where Will expected him to be nor going at the angle expected. The throw did look horrible live but wasn't as bad after reviewing it a couple of times.

I think it was great that you gave props to Aaron Kelley and the tight ends for their unselfish play in blocking in the running game. Kelley is terrific-even when he does not get many balls thrown his way, he doesn't sulk or whine and does his best to help Clemson's awesome rushing attack!
