Apr 20, 2006, 2:25 AM

think you are an unprofessional "journalist" (or whatever you do) so please just stop.

Your radio show is terrible and you're not even a good writer. Come on dude, please go away.

UNPROFESSIONAL.

Re: Mushmouth did . . .

Apr 20, 2006, 3:02 AM

I've been a Clemson fan all my life, and Mickey is just a flat-out embarrassment to everything Clemson.

God knows what he had to do to get on Tigernet (nevermind 104.9)

By the way MICK, 1 assist per quarter = 4 assists per game.

Idiot.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

About the assists,

Apr 20, 2006, 7:59 AM

I caught that too. Hilarious!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Mickey Plyler's Blog for April 19th sucks!

Apr 20, 2006, 3:11 AM

WOW - more impressive, than fans calling out players by name. I wonder how many recruits he wrecks for us?

Could you think of anything worse to try and fake into journalism P?

YEEESSS!!!!

Apr 20, 2006, 3:13 AM

These people get it!!!

See Mick, it aint just me babe.

PLEASE GO AWAY!!!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Hope you dont run into any of these guys.

Apr 20, 2006, 6:06 AM

Its stupid to rank these guys. I have like the blogs so far but with this I think you have run out of things to write about. Hope you dont run into Cole any time soon.It would be bad to have your butt kicked by a punter.Find something else to write about Mickey.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Agrre. Talk about each guy, but DON'T rank them for

Apr 20, 2006, 8:44 AM

their overall worth to the 2006 team.

Not a very professional move.

Re: Blog for April 19th

Apr 20, 2006, 7:50 AM

I am not comfortable with this type of comparison and with some of the comments. I think that it opens the door to negative reactions.

Certainly, the coaches should have some type of evaluation, but I'd hope that it wouldn't be splashed over the internet. I recommend to stop this and to offer quick regrets.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What if we started ranking talk show hosts?

Apr 20, 2006, 7:58 AM

The top 10 talk show hosts

10. Mickey Plyler - Worst talk show host for amount of experience.
9. Joe Dirt - Stock has risen as his mullett has grown
8. Mickey Mouse - Would be better, but has big ears
7. Goofy - Well, he's goofy, but better than the ones above him

6-1 will be released at a later date.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ignore the couple of idiots above - interesting opinions

Apr 20, 2006, 8:24 AM

I appreciate this blog and realize it is not a professional piece of journalism - only a blog and your thoughts. Most diehard fans sit around and make lists like this all the time. It is interesting to see your list, even if I disagree with some. Keep it up.

personal insults against players on this board. I'm afraid you've crossed that line here. I agree with the other poster--stopping this and offering regrets would be nice. Unfortunately, the damage is already done.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

“The best moment was on draft day when (N.C. State’s Mario Williams, Manny Lawson and John McCargo) all got picked in the first round,” said Dustin Fry. “That was kind of nice knowing we ran for 254 yards against three first-round defensive linemen.”

Somebody poll this - majority should rule - stay or go??***

Apr 20, 2006, 8:46 AM

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

This isn't an election, it's his personal thoughts.

Apr 20, 2006, 2:46 PM

Don't like it, don't read it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Or maybe Crump's decision should rule...

Apr 20, 2006, 2:48 PM [ in reply to Somebody poll this - majority should rule - stay or go??*** ]

Since he's the one who owns Tigernet.

And if he's going to leave it up to a vote, I'd say he should let the donors decide.

been ranked one way or another all their football careers.

maybe it could be motivation to improve

settle down francis

2024 orange level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yeah, but usually rankings start at the top.

Apr 20, 2006, 9:20 AM

If he would have ranked the TOP 10 most likely to make an impact it would have been alright. That would have honored our best players and not insulted those who, for whatever reason, have not made that list yet. Lets not forget these are college students who are working their buts off to make a difference for our football team. Who is this guy to say their not working hard enough and where does he get his info.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Great Read!

Apr 20, 2006, 9:28 AM

Interesting Opinion piece and that's all it is. Everyone needs to settle down! If players can't take this laughable critcism then they don't belong in Death Valley. This is really just a puff piece that shouldn't be ruffling so many feathers.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I dont really see the problem here.

Apr 20, 2006, 9:29 AM

I'm not sure what got into some of you folks, but there is no need to bash micky. I dont really see anything wrong with what he wrote. he didnt bash any of the players. Even when he commented on Cole, all he said was "a senior should be ranked higher." That is far from a personal insult.... i doubt any of you would disagree with him that Cole should be a lot better at this stage of his career.

I found the blog very interesting, and if i were a player, I wouldnt take any of those comments in a negative way. Most of the comments I read were encouraging and challenging.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of his opinions on player rankings.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ranking the top 22 players maybe, but starting at 86 says

Apr 20, 2006, 9:57 AM

hey you suck, no reason to call out players.

Mickey Plyler's Blog for April 19th

Apr 20, 2006, 10:23 AM

WoW! You guys are going crazy!
1. What does this have to do with his radio show? Yes this may be a little controversial, but this has nothing to do with his talk show. I haven't found anyone else who does a better job on recruiting info than him, so I just think some of you have fallen off your rocker.
2. Speaking of Cole, this past season how many of you thought he was the worst player on the team after he let go one of his many 20 yard punts? He may not really be that low, but he can make some people hate him.
3. The other players he doesn't seem to bash. He just tells why they are not playing. I am interested to see why the players that we have recuited are not contributing to the team.

Mickey, keep it up. Love the Radio Show and the Blog!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Mickey Plyler's forgot #87

Apr 20, 2006, 10:30 AM

and #87 is MICKEY PLYER! Oh wait...87 would be to high on the list for Mickey Plyer

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

yeah, seeing as how he's on scholarship....

Apr 20, 2006, 10:37 AM

i think you can come up with a better insult than that.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It is his Opinion, I am sure if we all filled this out it

Apr 20, 2006, 10:44 AM

would be different than others untill we get to the top
4-5. I think it is a good read and at least he give reasons of why he thinks that is there ranking. That is better than just putting a guys name out beside a number.

Totally unprofessional....

Apr 20, 2006, 10:51 AM

This sort of stuff is best left in the locker room or to the subscribers. You don't throw it out for the world to see, especially prospects.

Once again, I am reminded why I subscribe to TI.com to get reliable info. Cris would never allow this type of bias spin and degrading to pollute the bandwidths!

Different information medias rate players all the time but usually they are by positions and not overall value to the team.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Thanks for treading where others want, an honest "Opinion"

Apr 20, 2006, 11:04 AM

in this PC world is refreshing. I wish the USC boards had someone as bold.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Thanks for treading where others want, an honest "Opinion"

Apr 20, 2006, 11:55 AM

well there are 80 something players or so working hard to win football games and lose becuase field position is so bad because someone that should not be punting is punting,, if he is going to keep making 80.000 fans watch 155 yard punts he is going to hear about it,, is it really fair to the rest of the team
