I'd hate to work at the Clemson ticket office. They're going to be swamped !!!! How many folks fit into the Charlotte stadium?

Go Tigers !!!

Not as many as Death Valley***

HUGE!

Apr 4, 2006, 4:21 PM

Not only does this become a psuedo-home game for Clemson, but the Thursday night scheduling will be a major advantage.

After coming off what I'm sure will be a tough game at WF, we get 9 days to prepare for GT, and might be able to do minor prep for Virginia Tech. This makes a tough schedule a little more bearable.

Exactly!***

It will be interesting to see the attendance

Apr 4, 2006, 4:25 PM [ in reply to HUGE! ]

Charlotte is as easy or easier to get to for most everyone in NC and SC, unless you live right around Clemson or in Atl. So, I would think anyone down at the coast who would travel to Clemson for a Thursday night game would also come to Charlotte. I think we get 40,000. Isn't that a race weekend as well?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

It will be far more than 40,000 IMHO. ****

Yeah, it's race weekend. That's why it wasn't played

ROAD TRIP !!

Apr 4, 2006, 4:33 PM

I hope the ticket priority isn't the same as the bowl games. If that's the case, I'm out even though I have been giving for 17+ years

ROAD TRIP....ME TOO!!!!!!!!!

Apr 4, 2006, 4:36 PM

...oh wait, I live here.

hahahaha

and i'm sure the ticket distribution will follow "away" game ticket sales policy. although, I'm not familiar with what that is, so if it requires more than 7 points, i'm screwed.

yep

Apr 4, 2006, 4:56 PM

the place seats 70,000........we only had about 72,000 for Temple this year and that was on a Saturday. We will have the place over half full, but no way we fill it up on a thursday night

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

GO TIGERS

I agree

Apr 4, 2006, 7:12 PM

If we didnt sell out a home game against Temple on a Saturday, I dont see us filling up Charlotte on a Thursday night. Most people would have to take a half day on Thursday and either take Friday off or feel like crap all day. Dont get me wrong, it is much better to have an away game in Charlotte, and will give an opportunity for those that live close to Charlotte an opportunity to go that dont usually drive to Clemson bc of the length of the drive.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Darn !!!! I live only 3 hours from Philly &15 hrs from Charl

Apr 5, 2006, 6:03 PM

and NO T.V.???? That sux for me. Oh well at least I can go see us play at Boston College, a 3 hour trip.
