Not sure how I feel about this. What impact did he have on recruiting. I don't recall him helping much in this effort. What is the boards feelings about the reason behind his resignation.

If anything its legal in SC and illegal everywhere else! How many 16 year olds have gotten married at South of the Border? (By the way, I'm pretty sure your sister is allowed to get married everywhere)

I wish Hines the best. He did a great job at every position he was put in.

I also have heard Clemson is looking at Bill Bacon as a replacement. He has been coaching high school football in Columbia for several years and also played football at Clemson in the 80's. Nickname was Club Foot.

Here are some names that have been rumored. Bill Bacon, Danny Pearman, Jim Riggs and a coach at Alabama. All would be great fits. I have heard the same thing about Coach Bacon. I believed he coached Tremaine Billie in High School. Evidently a great motivator and has great reputation with the SC High School coaches. We need to get our TE's more involved in our offense. With Spence's offense we are utilizing more TE's. Sometimes two and three TE's on the same play.

I wish him the best in his new job, but you have to admit

that the story is misleading. The players mentioned were already pretty solid before he started coaching them, plus to switch job titles so many times in 8 years says something about how good of a coach he was. Losing Hines might not help, but it certainly won't hurt.
