I went to the Duke campus yesterday hoping to score tickets. I was offered tickets before tip off at $200/each, after tip off the price plummetted to $150/each. I watched game on TV.

Anyways, I like the passion of the students for the game. About a 500 students were lined up hoping to get into game, but they were disappointed.

Duke has an old, small, crappy stadium and a great program. Clemson has better, but middling facilities. Georgia Tech and NCSU have much better basketball facilities, but not better teams. I think the key for Clemson is to get a bunch of student close to court and raising hell for every game.

I think the biggest dropoff from Purnell is not quality of teams, but energy of the fans.
