I think a Tiger fan should wait till the season is over to call for replacing a coach. I hate losing, but I like the guys the Brownell is recruiting and he seems to develop players and his teams seem to improve as the season progresses.
I do not think Clemson will ever recruit as well as Duke or UNC or Louisville, but if we recruit players that can develop and will stay 4 years I think we can be competitive with those programs every few years maybe even win the ACC in the next decade. What Clemson can not afford is a constant changing of coaching staffs and a fan base constantly calling for he coach to be fired!

I will say that if Clemson wants fans in the seats make one entire side of the court first come first serve seating. The last time I went to a game, my seat was in the rafters but there were 1000 empty seats between me and the court.

Chad Morris was stubborn...

Jan 16, 2015, 2:44 PM

Kirk, I've had the same thoughts about Chad Morris and his stubbornness. By all accounts, it seems he was well liked and respected, but I believe his pride was starting to compromise his play-calling. He also never seemed to hold himself accountable quite as much as an OC should.

One particular example was the call against USC where Sammy threw an interception on the opening drive. His quote (this year) was "had Sammy threw when he was supposed to..." Or something of that nature. You rarely get anything more than "coach talk" during interviews but that quote said a million words. It seemed it was a good time to part ways. Say what you will about Dabo, but he will always, right or wrong, take responsibility for his players shortcomings. Just on a human level, I respect that.

Rex Ryan is a loser!!!

Jan 17, 2015, 7:27 PM

Rex Ryan sucks as a head coach and is being re-treaded just like the other loser head coaches that wander around the league in mediocrity...Rex wouldn't know what to do with a good QB if he bumped into one. I'll agree that Tajh had his issues, but so do many other NFL QBs who are not in the top echelon. The Buffalo Bills are probably screwed with ol' Rex--I hope that CJ and Sammy find a way out of loserville soon!
