Fruhmorgen loves first Clemson game, getting to know Deon Cain

A long weekend traveling from Tampa to Clemson and back to Tampa turned into a confirmation and the beginning of a friendship for one of Clemson’s top offensive line commits. What does Jake Fruhmorgen say about about the trip? What does he think of Deon Cain? Full Story »

One thing I've always loved about out coaching staff is they recruit high-quality kids. I wouldn't trade that for anything. Sounds like our 2015 class is cut from the same stuff, and I can't wait to see these kids in orange.

Deon Cain had trouble getting a ride? Lol I would have went and got him myself if necessary. I'm sure most of you on TNet would too! I would have even swung by and picked up Ray Ray too!

Sad thing about that is it would have been a NCAA violation for you to bring them. Now that means something to us, but at an SECheat school, not so much. When we get the OL fixed, and it is within sight (this young man is at the start of, or at least at the beginning stages of, something huge), we will be very special. Granted, we are looking at 2016 before these young, but extremely talented and gifted O Linemen are in the limelight, but things at Clemson will be very, very special. My guess is they will stay that way for a long time. Success breeds success, and we've been getting it even without a stellar OL. The OL we are bringing in will keep us in the forefront for a long time, and I can't wait.

Yeah, that NC State team hung 42 on FSU. Not a small game.

Unfortunately he'll have to keep imagining noise for UGA

Since they apparently don't want to play us anymore.

I think he's more likely to play as a freshman than Hyatt

Hyatt is probably the better overall prospect, but Fruhmorgen is more physically developed and has more bulk at this stage.
