is going to be a lot of fun to watch in Death Valley the next 4 or 5 years. I can't wait to get him signed because I'm sure the wolves will be vicious since we discovered a diamond in the rough so to speak.

A Man with a Plan! (Actually several plans). Proud of your hard work and not settling.
Keep up the recruiting.

When does the next ESPN 300 come out?

He's not in it right now, but I have a feeling he'll leap into the next one.

Our dearly departed friend on STS was criticizing this

scholarship offer only a few short weeks ago.

"When I see his film, I don't see anything that makes me say "Wow, I really want this guy." ... Dr.B

"I would not have taken a LB unless I felt he was elite ... while I do not see him as a waste of a scholarship ... I just would not have taken this player." ... Dr.B

His film isn't particularly incredible

his combine numbers are fantastic though, which fits with the analysis in that article of him being the best athlete on the field.

He has a high ceiling a lots of potential as long as Venables gets his pad level down and makes sure his technique matches his athleticism

Great job by our staff to see the potential there***

So? It was an opinion. He said the same thing about Tyler Grisham and has since said many times he was wrong. The kid isn't ranked in the Top 300(ESPN), so he's not the only one who thinks/thought he is not elite. Besides, showing out at The Opening, with no pads, doesn't prove anything. Not to mention his statement had more to do with our numbers at LB presently. I think the kid will make a fine football player myself. Elite? Only time will tell

Dr.B wouldn't be happy unless we brought in a 25 person class every year completely comprised of consensus top 100 players. No one likes a negative Nancy.
