3 point shooter only.
If you could bet on anything its that he was going to shoot a 3 no matter the look.
With him being new though I thought as soon as he gets confident enough to develop an inside game and mid range game to go along with an occasional 3 pointer he wouls be a great get for brownell.
This was the main reason he didn't see the floor. AT 6-8-6-9 you have to help on the boards if you want time on the floor. And with Blossomgame going down he had a golden opportunity but didn't cash in.

JUCO transfer just about has to compete for starting role as

soon as he shows up. Actually they should do more than compete, they need to be good enough to start. That's why you bring them in. To provide an instant contribution while filling a temporary gap in your recruiting classes. Djambo certainly didn't hurt us this past year, but he also didn't seem to have the potential to start in the ACC.

I thought the same thing about Akin Akinbala

back in the day but he turned out to be clemsons version of Akeem Olajuwon. He was one of best best post players we've had at Clemson and he only really showed out one year, his senior season.

Was he a JUCO? I was thinking Akin come in as a freshman and develop gradually until he blossomed as a senior? My memory fails me on the specifics.

If he were working the DJ's in the post instead of jacking up 3's and setting worthless screens at the top of the key, the program wouldn't have to depend so much on their perimeter game. Looks like Nnoko & 4 guards this year.

but this takes the cake.
Coach W is widely regarded as one of the best developers of post talent in the country.
Maybe catch a practice some time? So you can know what you speak of.
If your post was sarcastic and I missed it, then I apologize.

The Great Eeyore has spoken

Truly one of the biggest donkeys on TigerNet has brayed out his "wisdom" for all the world to hear how amazing he is. (I know he's jealous of me.) He believes that Akin Akinbala would have been 1st team ACC with one more year of coaching & Jerai Grant would be in the NBA if it weren't for Purnell holding him back.

not a big loss..but I did like him and I'm sure would have been a lot better this coming season. Will be interesting to see where he lands.
By the way ...Do we have enough players to scrimmage each other this year in practice?
