I wish I knew where they went to eat

Probably owned by a coot. Needs to be shut down if they cannot serve food without getting a bus load of people sick!

knowing previous experience, and a travelers tendencies... they could have very well eaten ate Hooters. Sick as a dog after my last trip to the Anderson spot.

Also near 85 and they're circuit is surely keeping them near main roads.

Of course, there are plenty of possibilities, but that popped in my mind immediately.

DHEC!

Re: RA that restaurant!***

Now that was the FIRST thought that came to mind while I was reading, DHEC!!! DHEC would have been my first phone call before I would have called their parents or anyone else, Yep, DHEC would have been in that restaurant searching for the contaminated food/foods while I was at the hospital. The doors of the restaurant should have been locked until the contaminated foods were found and identified. And the entire kitchen should have been cleaned or cleaned out. There is absolutely no reason for a restaurant to try and save pennies by not throwing out food that has been kept out to long at the risk of sickness to their employees, and mostly to unsuspecting customers. I have absolutely no sympathy for a restaurant business owner that allows food to be kept out for long periods of time, or for allowing foods to get cross contaminated. They know the rules that are in place for customer safety, that is the very reason for DHEC inspections. Enforce the "maximum penalty" when human safety rules are ignored. Its hard to catch these big restaurants when I believe they are tipped off before they have their unannounced "surprise inspections"!!!

Cross contamination or poor cleaning is more than likely the cause.

The wildcard is the employee who is OK with picking things up off the ground and considering it clean.

My Mom and I ate at Red Lobster yesterday in Anderson and both of us got sick. Wonder if they ate there.
