Gave props to Brownell and the Tigers, specifically KJ and had a great mixed metaphor calling the game "a flip of the dice". Love it! GO TIGERS!

Compare this to Steve Spurrier.

There is no comparison.

There's something in these hills.

WOW! Incredibly refreshing and evolved for a coach….

Class and character all in one human being. Exceptional interview and display of sportsmanship. No sour grapes, no excuses. Just honest and genuine competition. Thanks for posting. I love that he loves BB, too! Says a lot...

Win, lose or draw . . . I'm a Tiger fan forevermore!

I enjoyed his interview and I hope they continue with their success...ALL CLASS unlike some other folks in Columbia!

This guy could teach a lot of today's coaches about class***

Hate he had to lose so we could win....

But he and his team are still winners in my book!

Someone said compare this man to Spurrier. I say compare really good, genuine coaches like Coach K or even Bobby Knight to coaches like Spurrier and you see the night and day difference. Good coaches respect their opponent and the game. Sure, losing hurts and winning is euphoric, but you don't need to tear down the other guy to build yourself up. Let your work speak for itself and be gracious in defeat as well as in victory.

Completely agree. He even took the burden of the loss off of his team and blamed himself. A very classy and successful coach to be respected.

Belmont Crowd....

My daughter and I sat 2 rows up from them and they were all classy. They cheered and gave the refs a hard time on a couple of calls, (which were good calls) but overall they were all classy! Wish nothing but the best for them.

What a classy guy. That's my 2nd favorite coach.***
