INteresting comment at the end about not having a great shot at the job. I wonder when he was named interim what TDP thought the odds were he'd hire Dabo versus an outside candidate?

Has done an exemplary job. He has elevated the Tigers football team in facets beyond the playing field. We have a terrific team and structure in place since he took the reigns...we have graduation rates among the top schools in America with our football players , collectively the team GPA has risen substantially. There is accountability , even among our star players. His hires in the coaching area have been stellar as well , and nationally our team is in the 10/15 range with the reality of playing for National Championships actually past just the talk.
Swinney has some ###### in his armor and somrtimes speaks a little to quickly and lets his emotions run high...but I like his fire and I trust that he has Clemson's interests highly protected. He owes this school for his nationallu recognized name brand , and CU owes him gratitude for our current successes on and off the field of football.

Agreed, and well said.***

Lately I've felt Dabo has matured a little.

He didn't really have that far to go but I appreciate that some viewed his slight lack of maturity as a liability. While I knew he somewhat needed a little finishing in this area it didn't bother me except for the 5 of 10 thing.

All in all I wouldn't have changed anything about the man.
