2nd favorite now and that is just from CJ...but wow

And he'l then be catching a.......

halfback pass from CJ for an 80 yard TD!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness, SI's predictions normally turn out wrong...

It would be great to see Sammy with CJ, but I don't trust the Bills organization. I'm hoping Sammy will end up with St. Louis or Tampa. 4 teams I don't want to see him with are the Bills, Browns, Jaguars, and Raiders.

As always SI is about 7 picks late for Watkins. Teams

consider needs but when a once in a generation player is sitting there you do not want to be the team that did not pick him.

Once in a generation?

That's bold. But I like it. That's definitely his up-side. He's potentially the best WR since Megatron. His worst case scenario (barring injuries) would be "good pro".

I live in the Bay Area and would hate to see him go to Oakland -- the Niners could use him but that's not going to happen. He would seriously be the modern day version of Jerry Rice...wishful thinking...

So you say it's bold to call him "once in a generation," only to say he has the potential to be the next Megatron, who was in fact once in a generation?

Just want to make sure I follow.

Yeah, it is bold. And I wasn't disagreeing. Just bc I say bold doesn't mean i think its inaccurate.

If you read on, I even said if he ended up as a 49er, he would be a modern day Jerry Rice. So, I actually like the boldness. And with Sammy, at least CU fans know, the sky is the limit.

Once in a generation isn't something you can throw around lightly tho: Lebron James, Megatron, Manning, AP, Kobe Bryant. Those are once in a generation type players. Put Sammy in the right situation, good QB, good health, good coaches, and I think he has that potential.

You follow now?

A "generation" is loosely defined as 25 years ...

A "once-in-a-generation" player would be the best to come along in the last quarter of a century.

Maybe Sammy Watkins is the best WR in the last 25 years.

I will say a very humble prayer for Sammy tonight that he doesn't end up in Buffarilo;)

He will be gone in the top 5.***

Adding Sammy to the same offense as C.J. Spiller with a coach who is not named Chan Gaily changes the entire picture at Buffalo. Granted it takes more than 2 guys, but those 2 in the right system may bring out a monster those folks haven't seen since O.J. played there in his prime.

Sammy will be taken before the number nine pick, thank goodness.

These guys just amaze me. Have seen projections to Raiders, Bucs, Bengals, Bills, etc. Any one of us could have made a projection and be just as accurate. All guessing on their part. Just getting their names in the news.
