I prefer the short skirts and moped combo myself. Ah! Sweet college life.

Well, if youre retiring here, a college town in the middle of blooming no where might not be the best idea ever. Aside from that, hard to argue.

Why? Most retirees want the peace and quiet of being in a

small town while still having resturaunts and shops. Also there's lake hartwell, If i was a retiree a house on the lake wouldn't be too bad :)

The Cons are in Cootlumbia, not in Clemson

Funny, with as much garbage as many people around the country talk about the South, they sure can't move here fast enough.

towns are pretty awesome. I've visited Salt Lake several times and need to add that the winter time air quality in SLC can be pretty bad. The surrounding scenic mountains create a valley or bowl for lower SLC, air quality can get very bad, especially during inversions! I've been their when they recommended folks limit their outdoor time.

When you leave the city and head to ski slopes area you immediately notice blue skies and brisk fresh air.

It's kinda hard for me to knock SLC though.

Duh? Who doesn't want to live in MECCA?!?!?!!?***
