It's one thing to take jabs at Dabo

but now you're taking jabs at a player? wow, scum.

when talking about Spurrier's "class".....

you can omit the first two letters in the word "class"

SAMMY HAS THE ORANGE BOWL BCS RECORD!

What did Elington do in the Citrus bowl?

Uh Ellington had an amazing bowl game.

Re: SAMMY HAS THE ORANGE BOWL BCS RECORD!

lol....Ellington's BCS bowl record is darned impressive.

If only the chickens could win the SEC East during its weakest period of time in rememberable history (and stop losing to teams with a losing record--Auburn, Tennessee), Ellington might actually have some BCS stats. But he doesn't. So with no trophies or titles, like you and the rest of the chicken mental midgets, Ellington has to pin his pride on comments from his coach about players on other teams

Re: SAMMY HAS THE ORANGE BOWL BCS RECORD!

[2]
Posted: Jan 18, 2014 7:05 PM

actually SC could not have gone to a BCS bowl this year even if they won the east (see MIZZOU) it was either National Championship or no BCS for us.

In reference to mine...?
I think it's legit, while EVERYONE knew Sammy was going pro & not staying...Spurturd made sure there was NO chance that Sammy could change his mind before he fueled the fire.

It's a wimp talking trash to a guy walking away instead of whooping his a$$ just for good measure.
That's what's stupid. Talk smack after he's gone & still can't boast on anything but us....sad.
Sammy will make more in the NFL than many of his draftees put together!!!
I'll be speechlessly overjoyed if Sammy somehow went before the clown! Lol

Re: Re: What a stupid post!!!***

[1]

I think your joy is on the way. I doubt clown will be drafted before Sammy. Clown did himself no favors with his drama this past season. Under the right coaching staff and with some real guidance he can be a real force. He didn't get that in cola. He won't be coddled in the pro's.

dugatiger: I'll be praying for it! down with the clown! & all that is Spurturd & USuCk!!!

[3]
Posted: Jan 19, 2014 1:26 AM

What's the saddest really?

The fact that Slurrier can't get over himself & his jealousy of our success even after he's beaten us, but still surpassing him in many ways...?
-or-
The fact that the old visor thrower can't even compliment his own player's achievements without having to compare them to Clemson players & trying to disrespect our young (unpaid) men who give their all for the team (like his players) & trying to trash Clemson at every available opportunity...even when he has to arrange an opportunity for self-proclamation?

Funny how his standards of excellence & his original goals have diminished, only relegating himself to trying to make others look bad to help try & make his self seem bigger & better!
Egomaniac...

He seems to be an obsessed man, sad about his lack of meaningful accomplishments in his last gig as a coach, and failing with everyone other than his classless fans who are so starved for some success and attention. Very sad ending to what had been a fairly successful career.

lol...

[1]
Posted: Jan 18, 2014 7:16 PM

nice excuse. Think you just said you coots could not beat Auburn IF you have gotten into the champ game.

You really think a loss to Tn would have put the coots in a BCS game even if there was not a conference limit?

Incorrect. Your ranking would have been higher than BAMA

[4]
Posted: Jan 18, 2014 8:46 PM

With only one loss. You lost early and were high in the polls when you crapped the bed against UT. You had your chance and blew it. Stop making stupid claims like "we couldn't ". You whine about your conference and then brag about it . Classic c00ts!

not the media. Never heard of anything he did or didn't do in a meaningless bowl game while Sammy set all time records in a BCS bowl and has hundreds of compliments from the national media. Maybe Sammy will loan whats-his-name a few million of his signing bonus. Didn't realize that Sammy in addition to Dabo is in SOS's head. He needs to let it go for his own sake.

ummm, due to your "coach", and I use that term loosely, as of 2 years ago ( you do remember his sophomoric rant don't you) EVERYTHING is now fair game.

And you may as well get used to it as its not gonna stop.

Previously most SC fans would have preferred to leave the players out of it. But not now. SC fans are loving the mocking of everything and everyone associated with clem5on.

Dabo is the best thing that ever happened to this series.

Dabo letting him and the coots have it after the orange bowl Lol you can tell he's thought of this from that moment up until today. I can't imagine how empty of a feeling that must be to not accomplish anything memorable. In 5 years no ones going to remember or care about whether or not they beat clemson, #### now no one cares besides coots and clemson fans. All that anyone will remember is who accomplished the most and that is without a doubt dabo swinney and the clemson tigers. There's no need for a response to this just let them suffer

Nobody gives a #### if you finished in the top 5. Its a thing called championships and BCS wins that matter. Now I dont suppose many south carolina fans have the word championship in their vocabulary because well frankly they dont have any to speak of in the last 40+ years.

Watkins is a former player. Certainly heard about how Clemson kept Heisman winners Rogers and Walker out of end zone.

Recall reading them in Official CU releases. SOS is a smart ###; always has been and always will be.

If he coaches 8 more years and wins at least 6 of the 8 against Clemson but never even sniffs Atlanta or another Division title he will still be the greatest coach in college football in their minds.

Why doesn't spurrier talk about Kenny Miles?

Re: FB Update: Spurrier jabs at Clemson, Watkins

Posted: Jan 18, 2014 10:00 PM

He doesn't talk about Miles because mental illness is nothing to joke about.

Football is a game but making fun of someone who has attempted (successful or not) isn't cool and out of bounds. Some players that come to mind include Javis Austin, Kenny McKinley, Terry Smith, etc. They leave behind families that have to live with the results.

Javis Austin is an inspiration and I hope he is speaking to as many young folks as he can.

Re: FB Update: Spurrier jabs at Clemson, Watkins

Go look up Sammie's stats vs. us the last 3 years. He was a non-factor; Adam Humphries (and the fumbled punt wasn't his fault) has been steadier and tougher than Watkins.

Watkins has 15 catches for less than 180 yards with no TD's and several memorable drops.

Just like most cootsnblack, you completely miss the point don't you.

[1]
Posted: Jan 19, 2014 1:09 AM

It has to do with a grown man taking a stab at a young man & player, only because he's jealous that Sammy gets more press than him cluckhead!
You're oblivious to the childishness & classless-ness simply because you're one in the same with spurturd (except I grant he can actually coach).
You coots can be ecstatic Sammy didn't get around to his senior season or open any games up on you, but it wasn't Sammy's fault necessarily or completely & that's for sure...but I bet now he'd like that last shot at the dirtpecker in Death Valley to stick it back in Slurrier's rear!
We can't expect more from the coots, but can always expect less than someone possessing class.
Typical clucker...Y'all would eat sh!t if the old ball sack said it was chocolate ice cream!!!

The people that take the back and forth between Dabo and ball sack too seriously need to get a grasp on reality. It's just a rivalry. A poster above saying he wishes Spurrier would die needs to step away from the computer. I hate the coots and our recent losses to them but it's just a game. Enjoy life.

^ thank god someone gets it. This board is embarrassing

to read and does NOT represent the level headed
fans (which is the majority of tiger faithful).

If u read his statement he clearly says he's talking to his fans and saying stuff to fire them up and says Dabo does the same but then says it's for the fans of his school. Only time I actually agree with the old ball sack. Read what he says. He is taking up for his school and his players. He also said we have basically owned them for years. Don't like the guy or his school at all but most guys posting here missed this one. And don't call me a coot because I graduated in 82, have two kids there, and my family is 5th generation CU. Sometimes I really wonder about this board.

Sammy's laughing all the way to the piggy bank. He's got

Who really cares what Spurrier says to their fans who are watching their awful Bball Team ... he does it for their delirious fan base as they love to hear it... we been kickin' that tail for a long time and they are enjoying a little success lately ... and what is even better he jinxed them cause the Ole Coots lost again!

He has the perfect out for himself

Posted: Jan 19, 2014 8:01 AM

Without the 2 best players from the state in a very long time, they will start winning 7 games a year and he will do what people with no heart do and take his ball and go home with retirement.

This just reaffirms my opinion of Slurrier being a complete and utter D1CK!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't read, didn't open, don't care, couldn't care less.

We don't need this chit on our front page. No, I don't own this site. I call it mine because I'm here everyday and donate not because I own it. HTH

And I'm sure Watkins will be drying his tears with

his enormous signing bonus.

The worst thing about Spurrier's comments is...

how weird it makes many Tiger fans on this board look. Listen, the guy isn't saying anything that bad. Please stop contributing to such an ultra-sensitive PC world. We are just mad because he owns Dabo so far. It's Dabo's job to change that, and not by changing the subject on the microphone. He didn't say anything bad about Sammy. He made a harmless jab, Anyone calling this a personal attack needs to step back from the rivalry for a bit. Seriously, it makes us appear that much more owned when people get emotional about the SCAR headcoach. All this talk about how Clemson is in his head, Slurrier is in T-Net's head, big-time.

We all need a victory over the coots badly, for mental health reasons.

Pretty sure you hit the nail on the head !

I'm not sure why this should be front page news. Can someone help me understand? Anytime Spurrier says something recently, it is official tigernet news

W.T.F. is spurrier's obsession with us? I guess all he can

[1]

brag about is beating us. He hasnt done anything else there. But it shows what kind of low class jerk he is. All he can do is run us down to make himself feel better.

Update: Spurrier jabs at Clemson, Watkins

When a public figure makes public comments does he really think it's fair to only ask some of the public to listen but not others? Pretty naive. Most coaches have learned to not talk smack. Thought he would have learned by now that it will provide your opponent motivation and eventually bite you in the ###! Besides all of that what kind of example does it set for players and fans? He needs to work on his "sportmanship" skills obviously.

At some point, maybe the team will actually grow a pair and

man up and beat the chickens. Until then, I guess we have to listen to the old jerk run his mount.

How we lost to that team the past two yrs is ridiculous

Posted: Jan 19, 2014 10:08 PM

We gotta quit giving the game away. No way their last two teams should have beat us. We have played like crap against them. We have to quit saving our "d" game for them and just play

True Dat

Posted: Jan 20, 2014 10:57 AM

Perhaps the next time we open the game, gashing them 5-8 yards/play, we will not inject a high schoolish trick play and start the train wreck. Perhaps, (I'm praying) we'll even stick with a running game that is working at full tilt. Or even take a page from some of the pro defenses, AND PUT A SPY ON A RUNNING QUARTERBACK.
Just sayin'. Go Tigers!!!

To shut him up.....

Posted: Jan 20, 2014 11:48 AM

we have to beat him. Let's work on that. And let's shut up until we do. Go Tigers !!

Beating us....

Posted: Jan 20, 2014 11:54 AM

is all he has to hang his hat on. He really has accomplshed nothing else. That is why he keeps bringing it up. He has nothing else. Their best shot was 39 points less than the best in the SEC. No championships to show for his efforts. It's all he has to rally the fans support. Therefore he overuses it. It's time we take his ammunition away and reduce him to nothing.

He's an attention #####, and this is exactly what he wants.

Posted: Jan 20, 2014 11:59 AM

Like I said.. Their second tier bowl game trophy presentation was the only way they can get people to come see their sorry excuse for a basketball team.

Just ignore it and beat them.. That's the only way to shut it up.

GO TIGERS!!
