For Beasley, It Was All About the Degree

Vic Beasley's decision to stay at Clemson had more to do with his education than it did stats, the record book or his position in the NFL Draft. He just wanted his degree. Full Story »

Glad to have you back Vic! Our family can't wait for fall 2014 to get here! Go TIGERS!

I guess this is what happens when you offer a real degree at your college

I'd rather have this guy than 100 Juco guys just looking for a way into the NFL.

That's ironic. Because for Clowney it was all about the

I had heard that Clowney stopped going to class in October so I seriously doubt he will ever get a degree...if he does not make it in the NFL, Kiffin might be right about going to USuC and pumping gas as a profession....true or not I don't know but the Carolina Clowneys are as big of cheaters as UNC in my opinion

That's my point. It was all about NOT being able to get

a degree.

Tajh and his mom has already started as well. Wish his mom's statement would get more publicity. She certainly didn't have to do that.

I don't know if he said anything directly, but Vic

said Dabo told him about CJs story- that being CJ deciding to stay and not regretting the decision which ultimately paid off.

So what did she say? We all read that Dabo told Vic about CJ's experience, but what did Tajh's mom say?

We have 2 marketing demographics: student and parents...not in that order. The latter will take note to Carla's message. Wouldn't you as a parent? I would

NFL is tough with most players only playing a few years. He knows he needs a plan B. Kudos to Beasley.

I just watched the video of Vic responding to media questions regarding his decision to stay at Clemson for his senior year. I wonder how many of us could have handled the questions as well as he did. His answers were well thought-out and succinct. The entire interview was impressive. Vic is an excellent representative of Clemson University. Go Tigers!
