He's going to add 10 more lbs?

If he does, OMG. He's going to be impossible to contain. He's already impossible to contain.

If he wants to be a first round pick.

Sounds like a smart young man

Proud to call this guy a tiger.

1. Get a degree
2. Become a better player

Great goals for any young football player. Can you imagine if this guy goes top ten next year what that says about this coaching staff and their ability to help a player maximize their potential.

I like the fact that it was in that order and couldn't imagine leaving Clemson without his degree.

What would you do?

Few are lucky enough to be told they will be drafted in the first round by the NFL and have a year of eligibility left. Smart or not it comes down to one person's decision and he alone he has to live with it. A degree is something nobody can take away from him and last a lifetime. The average career in the NFL is roughly 3-4 years. I don't know what I would have done but will always respect his decision as I believe his teammates and coaches will always remember him for.

He'll get his number retired.

Like we did for C.J. Spiller

Felt he made the right decision. From what I saw, he looked at the bigger picture & made the choice he thought was best for him - which for him, was to finish getting his degree from Clemson.

We should play this tape for the parents ofm all recruits.

Gotta love just how humble this young man is. He is going to be a great leader of a great defense this year. I'm glad he decided to stick around another year. The new face of the Clemson Tigers.
