I am hoping Dye will be able to play football. Those back injuries are tough to come back from.

Praying for his recovery.

I agree, have a feeling that unfortunately Dye may be a guy that never gets to play much due to this injury. Hoping I'm wrong but I feel the fact that he is still not participating in any activity at all does not look very good.

does brooks have any eligibility left?

holy shyatt, now that's tough.

Yes ... by all means ...

Dec 30, 2013, 4:24 PM

Yes, by all means let's keep piling on Adam Humphries, who was directly responsible for only one of the 6 turnovers we committed against SCAR.

Let's let Tajh off the hook for his three turnovers.

Let's give Bryant a pass on his totally boneheaded mistake.

Let's completely ignore the momentum killing failed trick play in the first drive.

It was all on Adam Humphries. He "obviously" lost the game by himself.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Two turnovers and 14 Coot points. He blew it.***

Dec 30, 2013, 5:05 PM [ in reply to Yes ... by all means ... ]

If we took Sammy out after one muffed punt Humphries needs to be out as well. Sammy is the most dynamic player on the team and it is insane that he is not returning punts. You can't tell me that a top 10 NFL draft pick cannot catch a punt. Humphries was totally responsible for those 2 drops and made no attempt to stop the interception. Heck at least interfere with the DB but you don't let him make that play. Humphires didn't lose that game but he played a major part in it and should not be returning any kicks come Friday night.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Would you seriously call him that to his face?

Dec 30, 2013, 5:01 PM [ in reply to I hope Santa brought Butterfingers Humphreys some glue*** ]

The internet tough guy factor is strong w/ this one.

Dec 30, 2013, 5:34 PM [ in reply to Re: I hope Santa brought Butterfingers Humphreys some glue*** ]

We have a whole squad of WR's that are better than Humphreys. He will not be a factor next year with all the talent.

AG E is cloning Humphreys and Sammys to end future

Something he has been told since a frosh in HS.

Dec 31, 2013, 10:51 AM [ in reply to Humphreys? ]

Yet he still produces.

Did he have a crappy game? Sure...a lot of guys did. I'd take 100 guys like him and we'd still be a top 10-15 program.

We're lucky to have him.

I don't blame- but why didn't the Chad use the 2nd receiver

for the trick play? Maybe Bryant didn't practice that well?

Ridiculous observations then I guess any hope of sensible discussion has already passed us by.

Do you not see a difference between "involved with" and "responsible for" ??

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

He didn't contest the INT or try to break it up

Dec 30, 2013, 5:09 PM

He didn't manage to corral the punt that MB got in the way of. Granted that would have been hard to do but I don't think impossible. Who's knows if he was even making sure CU players around him know where he was trying to fair catch that short punt in traffic.

And he did completely cough up the ball in the most inexcusable TO of the night. The one that was the back beaker that allowed SCU to pull out of reach finally.

I'm not blaming him for the loss but acting like he had little to nothing to do with it is ridiculous. Is he your son or something?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Is he my son? No but he's somebody's son and doesn't deserve

Dec 30, 2013, 5:58 PM

the constant harping from people like you who couldn't haul in a punt cleanly if you were the only one on the field.

T-Netters complain continuously about Jesse Palmer and Mark Maye and Ed Cunningham beating dead horses about Clemson but some of you won't shut up criticizing your own players individually and by name.

Pathetic!!

He made one mistake ... he got the ball stripped from behind at a critical juncture trying to make something happen.

He was trying hard to do something to help win the game. So let's crucify him over it. No, seriously, let's do it over and over again.

And by the way ... if you're going to be a board hero why don't you at least learn how to use the "reply" function properly.

I think he was open more often do to scheme than talent. I think that is indicative of Tajh under utilizing the position.

Dec 30, 2013, 6:04 PM

Calling out Tajh and Bryant is ok? They are someone's son too. I'm not calling anyone out just saying exactly what happened. Sorry if that hurts your sensitive board feelings. Ask Hump he would probably tell you the same thing. The only difference is he has moved on and you obviously haven't.

Man, I think our backs can be a strength in 2014. especially if we find answers at the tackle positions (ol)
