"STAR ratings" from the recruitment media on our perception of high school players.

Any player not given 3 or 4 stars for most of the recruiting cycle will be a surprise to message boards if they avoid redshirt. Same reason many people are scratching their heads about MacKensie.

Great athletes but need a lot of coaching to make up for the lack of it in their HS either due to size, Green, or location, Ebo. If he's picked up on the scheme that fast and will be an assets them I'm all for it.

I really think he's avoiding a RS for depth reasons and because the staff feels that Sammy is as good as gone and if Bryant has a good year then he'll be gone as well and they want to give these guys a lot of experience.

Some disparaged the use of the pads on the outside of the helmets... I think this throws a little light on the topic of concussions.
