Sophomore left tackle Isaiah Battle opened a lot of eyes with his performance against LSU in the Chick-fil-A Bowl, but his performance in practice has paled in comparison to that game. What are his goals for the spring? What does he need to do to gain the trust of the coaches? Full Story »

During this kid very first spring game, he looked like a NFL player while in his stance. He has all the physical attributes of a great players. Once he get it all together, the pro scouts will be knocking his door down to try and get him.

Potential. The gifted are usually the ones the driven have to lift up, which is a shame. Hope he realizes this b/c this lesson translates beyond football. In the meantime, don't miss any blocks Isaiah!

I think Battle was a regular on the Sopranos, wasn't he? He was outstanding against LSU, but too much of the time, and evidently in practice, he plays like that cat burglar.
