I don't know who did the star ratings on him

but he is not a 3 star! This kid is not afraid to go hit! He has a nose for the ball. Very underrated. Duke, Louisville, or Clemson is going to pick up a great LB right here!

If he cares about academics, Louisville is OUT.

Not even sure why they made the top 3. I get how Duke fits with their good academics. Clemson seems like the perfect blend of football and academics.

You are a fool if you don't want this kid
Jun 11, 2013, 12:36 AM

because he is "a three star". I think our coaches are pretty good at evaluating talent, they don't just look at Rivals and decide who they want to offer. Honestly, the reason this kid is a 3* is probably because he didn't go to a million camps over the past three years.
He is listed on Rivals as 5'11", 228. He had a 120+ tackles last year. He benches 350, squats 480, and cleans 295 pounds as a 17 or 18 year old.
Mike Bellamy was a five star, Lateek Townsend, Cortez Davis, and Desmond Brown were four stars. Adam Humphries, Sam Cooper and Grady Jarret were two stars. Vic Beasley, Martin Jenkins, Giff Timothy, and Deshaun Williams were three stars.
Quit focusing on ratings so much and look at stats/film. This kids a beast, and he is gonna pick Clemson.

The kid looks good

but I wouldn't take him with 2 big time LB commits already, limited numbers for this class, and the white whale of Raekwon McMillan out there.

I agree with you Penthouse Tiger. If we have only seven recruits left, I think we should pass on this guy.

To the idiot consumed with "stars"
Jun 11, 2013, 12:09 PM

Think back a ways to a certain "3 Star" who we probably should have "passed on" because he wasn't a "4/5 star"
This guy ended up having a STELLER career as an All American for Clemson.
He also had a STELLAR Career in the NFL and is 4 years away from being enshrined in CANTON, OHIO!
His name???? Brian Dawkins!!
Get a clue Moron!!
Go Tigers!!!!

Some people speak without a thought in their mind for how a football program actually works. I wish those people would go cheer for another team, sometimes. True Clemson fans are cut from better cloth than that.

His commitment won't hurt our numbers

We have one more spot designated to a linebacker. Lets say KJ commits. That doesn't effect us taking Raekwon, because we have already stated that he is an oversign prospect. We will go after both.

Yeah, we should "pass" on this stud while we have larda$$es and do-nothings sitting over there taking up scholarships and room on the bench. Put them in the wind. Committment is a two-way street.
