Tigers lead for Upstate RB
Easley's C.J. Fuller says the departure of Dalvin Cook from Clemson's plans has opened a window, and he now says the Tigers are his leaders. He hopes to have a decision by May. What did the coaches tell him this past weekend? Full Story » |

That would be a Double Wing Formation. Double Tight Ends, Full Back, Counter Back and Main Back. Lots of directional blocking and misdirection.

This is a variation of the wing t offense formation and is very effective for Easley. This would be a big pickup for Clemson to land this kid. Though he is listed as only a 3 * this kid has tons of potential. I'm an Easley alum who attended the Wren game where he rushed for over 300 yds. He is extremely talented and underrated.

He looks pretty good on tape. Doesn't look as fast at they have his 40 time but still quick. Seems to read the lanes well. Good combination of size and speed. I'm guessing his low rating is because that strange offense they are in. It's hard to compare production in that scheme compared to standard lineups.

We're not strong with Hood right now

We might be in his top 5 but it's at the bottom and the fact that we couldn't get him to visit on the spring game is troubling. We really need a stronger recruiter in NC because Pearman isn't getting it done lately. We're losing far too much talent to the Tarholes.

When UNC can recruit on the level of Clemson, then I'll become concerned. We haven't done bad at all overall in NC. The current roster indicates that.

Pearman is a very good position coach but a terrible recruiter. Dabo has him in one of the closest, best hotbeds of talent within 250 miles. That must change or UNC is going to OWN Charlotte in two years.
This is a major flaw in Dabo's recruiting plan and should be changed immediately. Our odds with Hood or just about anyone from that area is always weak due to Pearman's incompetence at recruiting.

I played with Cj tore my acl first game of the year I was an offensive lineman and he does a great job of running through the hole rather than dancing and he has deceiving speed where he doesn't look like he is running that fast then turns the jets on....would be great to watch former teammate in the valley light the scoreboard up

Stanley "Boom" Williams, looks incredible. Runs a 4.3 and visited the spring game with Deshaun Watson. http://www.tigernet.com/view/recruit_update.do?id=10651
Also I think Elijah Hood and Joe Mixon would be worth waiting for. May not have as good a shot with them but their intrest could skyrocket if we have a BCS season this year.

This kid is a clone of CJ Spiller. Similar running style as a junior in high school, speed with another year of getting faster, no wasted motion, north-south runner, quick brust between and beyond the tackles, and will get better, stronger, and faster before entering college. He will keep the CJ Legend alive. With the growth of the OLs, the rushing attack will be Fuller behind Watson, Stoudt, or Kelly. He a true sleeper, should be rated better than a 3stars and if he improves his senior year, he will be rated higher. ALL-IN CJ.

Does this mean Dabo has changed his policy about recruiting kids that commit then visit elsewhere?

Nevermind two different kids. Read the story wrong. Good luck with the kid.
