I thought the Samford DB coach was Sam Shade, not Slade.

He played with Dabo at Alabama I think.

And did you watch them play UT in the GA Dome?...

Neither this dude or the OK State guy sound too impressive to me.

Your crazy if you don't think Jones from Ok. State is not a good candidate. He had the top secondary in all of the big 12. He recruits on a whole other level as well.

He would be a freaking home run hire

We don't have a defensive line that creates a lot of pressure or sacks. Secondary can't cover all day I don't care who the team is or coach.

Yep, and Amerson actually regressed big time. Coach's fault?***

After searching for the people you mentioned in this article none of them showed up. I feel like you meant Jason Jones and Sam Shade. Both coach at the schools you mentioned. Don't know how well I like any of them after looking at the pass defensive stats and all were ranked worse or barely better than Clemson. I don't keep up with assistant coaches though so maybe they're all good.

OK State saw 510 Passes
NC State saw 428
Clemson saw 404.

If you see almost 100 more passes in a season, you're going to have worse numbers. NC State and OK State also only gave up 18 passing TDs each (1 for every 23.7 passes for NC State, 1 for every 28.333 passes for OK State) Clemson, on the other hand, gave up 22 passing touchdowns (1 for every 18.36 passes thrown).

I couldn't care less how many passing yards are given up if the other team isn't turning those yards into touchdowns.
