He has come a long way! He hits the hole so quick. I love to see him in misdirection plays.

I think he will continue to improve. I can't wait to see his best.

I the GT game I laughed when the announcer raved about Ellington and it was McDowell carrying the ball... they used to do the same thing 4 years ago when Ellington had the ball the announcers would give the credit to CJ Spiller!

With the pace of the offense, he ought to be in there more to give Ellington a breather. Other than the tragic fumble at GT last year, I think he's done a good job. Not knowing anything about practice, I'd say he got a bit of a bad reputation under Napier and has to dig out of a hole.

HotRod has arguably been the most pleasant surprise on the team this season. I remember in the summer of 2010 that Dabo said HotRod was similar to Ellington, but then we didn't see much of McDowell in 2010 or 2011. I hope he keeps working hard and has a huge, NFL-draft-inducing senior year.

And after a successful NFL career, I hope he goes back into acting, because I always enjoyed his movies.
