Love the little notes that wouldn't necessarily turn into a full article.

"A notable presence in the tunnel of the Georgia Dome following the game was ACC Commissioner John Swofford, wearing a tie with Clemson’s colors. He was the first one to hug Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney as he entered the tunnel following the win."

Nice.

General thoughts

Sep 5, 2012, 4:00 PM

By no means do I wanna downplay a terrific win,so let me make that perfectly clear.Just wanted to pass along a few more thoughts I had from this past Saturday's game.

-First off, everyone knows we have other players besides Sammy. But quite frankly, the ones who were suppose to shine, basicly did so. And while Hopkins did have 13 catches,it only produced 119 yds-9 yds per catch.Only slightly better than what Ellington had per rush.Problem is,so it seems. Without Watkins, we had no real veritical passing game and we were missing that big time play maker.I would imagine from Chad Morris's interview, the focus was going be on Hopkins, sure. I was just somewhat disappointed that we weren't able to make more plays down field.I think Chad talked about that as well. So, all in all...no real complaints about the offense.

-Defensely, I think most people knew there would be some work to do.Otherwise, why would Venables be here if there wasn't. It was really dishearting to see Auburn basicly run the ball down our throat.I think that was harder to swallow than the big pass play.Moving forward, I know BV would get this corrected.

-As stated,a million times- wayy too many drop passes.

-Great job by the Catman on FGs

Otherwise, bout all I have for now.
Hats off again for a great, and SOLID WIN.

A couple of big pass plays called back. I also think we took what Auburn was giving us. We had 525 yards without Sammy and with 5 big drops. Think we did ok.
