i think the game depends on one main part of the game. can we block auburns defensive front? we will get our points on quick throws, but if we have success blocking their d line and can run the ball we will beat them handily. i think our d will play well enough to win without question.

I'm not sure I can fathom your thought that we have to WIN the LOS to win the game. The odds of us "winning" the LOS is about nill. However, if we just don't lose the LOS we should be OK. AU has a very good DL and we have more questions than answers on the OL; if we can push between these two, we really have won.
Dalton has to win his position and clear the A-gap so AE has a little space to work with. Once he gets to the second level, he's lights out and will make them pay.
I give us the advantage as Boyd is greater than Frazier (or should be) but let's hope AE can run some to keep BVG from sending the kitchen sink after Boyd every down.

Offensive pass blocking: Not losing LOS (as you said we need to do) is the same as winning the LOS.
Offensive run blocking: Creating gaps (as you said we need to do at least in the A-gap) is winning the LOS.
Defense: Maintaining gap integrity and getting a pass rush is winning the LOS.
