Excellent info for recruiting. We can def use these stats to our advantage when talking to prospects. Obviously most are interested in going to the NFL at some point.
When's the last time we didn't have a junior leave early?

Their best recruiting recently was the last 2 years, none of those guys are draft eligible yet (half of them aren't even in school yet)

FSU and Miami continually garner the top rated recruting classes in the ACC every year, but clemson does a nice job allowing every recruit to compete and developing talent. In this article alone, our top draftee this year was worthy of only 2 out of a possible 5 stars according to all the high school recruiting publications, which means he was a very low rated "talent" when clemson brought him in!!At Clemson he has developed to the point where he was a top 40 pick in the NFL!!! The article also states that 2 of our four draftees this year were former 2 star players.
Clemson gets blasted by the press for not doing more with so much talent, but in reality they dont get as much of the top incoming talent as say miami or FSU, they just do a better job developing the talent they get. Clemsons recruiting has definitely picked up over the past 5-10 years though for sure
You never hear the press bash on miami or FSU for not doing well, even though they get the top incoming high school talent pretty much every year according to recruiting experts like rivals.com etc...But they do bash clemson it seems plenty.
And then when clemson develops a 2 star guy like andre Branch(this years top pick), and he starts getting positive attention from the NFL draft experts, who start projecting that he could be picked in the first round, a media talking head like Kirk Herbsreit bashes him, calling him a one year wonder and questioning whther or not he picked up his play his senior year for the money he would hopefully be getting in the NFL. He questioned Branches heart and character. Seriouslly, Branch was a very low rated recruit who busted his butt at clemson and developed to the point where he deserved to get drafted into the NFL. You would think a guy like Herbstreit would sing Branches praises for being such a low rated talent who worked and made something out of himself, but instead he was looking for any way possible to bash the poor kid. You would almost guess some of the so called talking heads are paid to disparrage clemson now that they are taking away a few top recruits from other big name/powerful programs. You think a powerful program like FSU or Florida likes seeing clemson pulling some of the good recruits from their backyard?? nope.
Its disgusting to see the well paid talking heads looking for any way possible to bash clemson whether by calling them chokers for not winning every game of for not doing more when they falsley claim they have a but load of talent compared to others. These guys want clemson to fail whether they are paid to do so or out of plain jealousy.
But in reality, clemson is a solid program with a great fan base, and they do a good job with the talent they receive...and as they keep pulling more talent away from the power programs, they will continue to be more competitive with the top programs in the country, even to the despair of the talking puppets and their masters. War Clemson.

When it comes to Joey Batson, we only criticize him when we lose...we cannot applaud his efforts in victory. Get it straight

Wow , calling me coot what should I do with my life now? Very simply if we have equal talent should we not have equal results? Maybe we are simply not coaching them properly? Open your eyes people.

In 1st 115 picks, CU had 4, WVU 1, SCar 2, GT 1, & NCSU 1.

Dabo and crew are great recruiters but they seem to do less with more-- losing more than their reasonable share to teams with comparable or inferior talent, whether you look at it from an inbound star-ranking talent perspective or an outbound NFL-draft perspective.
