As much as I would like to see Ellington play....

Oct 24, 2011, 3:09 PM

primarily because I think he is fun to watch, I have a very high level of confidence in Howard and Bellamy if Ellington is ultimately unable to go.

Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

Bellamy get his chance to get his rhythm this weekend

Oct 24, 2011, 3:39 PM

He will explode for over 100 yards, easy. Not ruling out a fumble.

Fumbling ........

Oct 24, 2011, 3:55 PM

makes Morris go BALLISTIC (me too). Doubt we see Bellamy get a lot of carries until he can prove he can hold on to the ball.

he got to carry the ball right after he fumbled sat***

yeah, the announcer said Bellamy on the carry but it was McDowell. Bellamy was riding the pine.

Nope....he was done after the fumble.***

God can we please get through a high profile game with NO Injuries? I know all games are important as season wines down but not all of them are on ABC Primetime.

I like Howard and love Bellamy's upside as much as the next

Oct 24, 2011, 3:58 PM

guy, but we need AE23 as healthy as possible and playing against GT. I just hope his ankle heals quicker than expected.

If AE can't go, would rather see more of Howard!

Oct 24, 2011, 4:38 PM

Howard runs hard, has great balance, and almost never goes down on first contact. This guy has shown that he has earned more playing time. Looks and plays like a guy with heart to me!

I second that.

Would like to know what his yards after contact have been. He and Bellamy make a great duo. If Andre can't go, I think that's an area where we certainly have some depth.

I agree. Howard remains me of a"mini" Walter Payton. He runs with determination and he seems to be "hungry". I think that we rest Ellington and have him ready for the Wake Forest game. This will also give Bellamy a chance to shine.

Re: Football Player Update: Andre Ellington injury update

I see a lot of people not concerned about Ellington's injury. He has done a lot for Clemson when we didn't have the freshman stars we have now. I hope he is ok and would love to see him on the field. He has the experience and when he finds an open hole he's gone.

Not saying that we shouldn't share the carries between ellington, bellamy and humphries. But Ellington should get the start if he is 100%. I also don't worry about fumbles nearly as much when Ellington has the ball.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Make no mistake...

Oct 24, 2011, 4:51 PM

Not having Andre at 100% is a big concern. He can take it to the house every time he touches the ball and, no, he doesn't fumble. We really, really need him to be ready to go.
