It is amazing how this kid seems so grown up in a matter of a few months. I think the coaches are doing a great job of turning these kids into men. I hope the best for all the tigers that pour their hearts onto that practice field, and the gameday field. As confident as I am they must be pouring confidence like its water.

Still can't wait to see Anthony, Steward, Townsend and Goodson line up together. The fear in Lattimore's eyes will be palpable.

Screw Calford.

Me either, but that could be a while because guys like...

Tig, Quandon, Corico aren't going anywhere and are playing some good football. Justin Parker won't just fade to the background either. Steward will definitely get in the mix in due time, and I'm sure Lateek will too (he could even play some DB, who knows), but the guys we have now are coming along nicely.

Stephone is the one young LB that definitely should and will be playing now a lot more though. He's a beast. Like Sammy, he's ahead of the curve at his position not only physically but more importantly mentally.

As much as Stephone's demeanor, attitude, and maturity speak well of our coaches, it also speaks well of the type of families our recruits seem to come from. So many of them seem to be so grounded and solid. Yes, some have some of that freshman immaturity which is to be expected. But, they have a willingness to learn and get better that has to come from their roots back home.
Football athleticism is not all it takes to be excellent in football. The mind, attitude, and spirit is equally important.

We are recruiting definitely winners!

Go Tigers!!!
