I used to work at Chapel Hill. I had to quit because the lifestyles of so many there on campus where in line of a school that belongs in SF if you get what I am saying. I still pick up part time stuff there, but let me tell you, it is a different place.

Also, good luck finding anyone that really has a passion for college football there. I went to eat there last year opening game of FB season and they had Tennis on the TV at a bar downtown and would not put football on...

we would have won at least 3 more games last season with a kicker of his caliber. you talk about a game changer? a season changer? this kid is on that level

There was nothing wrong with our punting last season. FG kicking would have helped, but Pinion is not a FG kicker.

It shows him in his videos kicking field goals. Also in articles written about him it says that one of the things he needs to work on is a consistent follow through on field goals. Not saying you are wrong, maybe I am the one thats confused. Just saying if he is hitting 63 yarders on video we should give him a chance to kick field goals.

I was going off this article:

If he is a consistent option at FG kicker, I'm sure he'll get a shot. With Lakip coming in, looks like we're interested in Pinion for punting and KOs though.

He looks alittle slow getting his punts off or maybe it's just me.

If Pinion doesn't love 110% EVERYTHING about Clemson

Jun 14, 2011, 6:52 PM

(or UNC for that matter) then I hate to say it, but the young man should just keep looking until he finds the right place that he does love. There's absolutely no reason to rush a quick decision at this point in time unless he knows without a doubt he's found his new home.
