Bellamy still solid with Clemson

Bellamy still solid with Clemson

Mike Bellamy’s high school coach told TigerNet late Sunday night that Bellamy is aware of the news swirling around the Clemson program right now, but is still very much wanting to be a Clemson Tiger. Full Story »

How dare he contradict the experts on TNet about what he's thinking...

If I were Bellamy I would be pumped about this move. This means he is going to get legit coaching at the next level. This means we all have the best chance at winning conference championships.

If I were him, Sammy, Charone, and the others im throwing a freaking party.

I hope he comes but as I said earlier, Florida worries me...still a long month to go with this kid...

Florida had a better record than us, but...

Jan 2, 2011, 10:43 PM

...Their record was nothing to brag about, for once. In common opponents we played FSU MUCH BETTER than they did, and if we have had a kicker, we would have beaten FSU. We both played Scar pretty much the same.

The new Florida coach is a defensive coach, and hopefully whoever Dabo hires is a guy who will promise to make Bellamy shine on offense, and put the ball in his hands often.

The biggest advantage for them that I can see is Florida is his home state.

I also want to see that, but your example is poor. A defensive-minded head coach wants to establish the run to rest his defense. Charlie Weis is also coming to Gainesville. Dabo better hire a great OC.

Actually forgot about Weis, but he is not a popular name among high school athletes, especially in the south.

And no, I don't think my example was poor. If Bellamy were to consider UF, I am sure he would be much more interested in knowing what type of offense they will run, meaning what Weis will do over Muschamp. Sorry, but not every defensive coordinator that gets a head job runs three yards and a cloud of dust. Questions like this are not asked when offensive coordinators are hired for positions.

Yep, you have busts, and you have...

..Marcus Lattimores. What if this guy turns out to be our Lattimore, or better? It's important to keep him, with the way he's played this year.

What would Scar's record have been without Lattimore, and Auburn's without Newton? I have seen the effects of parity stronger and stronger the past ten years, and this year it went to a whole new level, I saw the effect just ONE PLAYER can have on a team. In basketball, for years one impact player has been able to turn a team around, and now it has moved into college football. It's still much more rare in football, but it was evident with some teams this year. That's why when I see people making 2011 predictions before recruiting is even over, I just LMAO. Heck, I don't even make predictions in August...
