In a nutshell, he said that, as a coach, BV was no Bud Foster. Possible reality was that CU was only taking 2 linebackers, his son was offered and 2 other offered athletes accepted first. One of which was BV’s son. When people started transferring, it opened up a scolly and we extended our offer. He chose Va. Tech.

Ditto to that. Plus he also said his son's best chance of making it to the NFL is by being coached by Bud Foster, not BV.

You're right, BV don't put them in the NFL, he just gets them ready , and the NFL takes them!!!

Too bad, but unlike a lot of parent's, Dax's dad apparently didn't outgrow the 'vicarious' stage. Unfortunate for Dax, too. All's not lost, though....Vicarious is a good song, yet not worth being a Tool, over. ;)

It really was a win win for the kid. He was choosing between two top 5 DCs. He felt Bud Foster was the best coach for him. Hard to fault a guy for that. Some people have this unrealistic view that Clemson is for everyone and if someone chooses otherwise. He is either broken or stupid. I don't get it.

I agree and plus we kind of dangled the offer in front of him and then finally offered and I feel like he may have been slighted, I think people should just let it go..

You left off ungrateful moran ...

He's hardnosed that way.

That clearly shows he didn’t need to come to Clemson. Maybe he didn’t like to work
