what he means by that.sounds like sour grapes

just that--a commitment. Doesn't matter what other schools do with their kids--if you tell us your "committed" to playing at Clemson then we hold you to your word. He's been nothing but consistent about that since day one-- see Marlin Lane.

But, I'd imagine it's true that Dabo doesn't have the same standards for every player. Why would he? Depending on the situation, the expectations, and the importance of the kid to the team I imagine the "standards" (which I assume he was referring to allowing players to take other visits) would change.
And I can't imagine why anyone would think that to be a problem.

Because I'd imagine every one of them holds players to different standards at different times.
You star RB fumbles the ball? You give him another shot.
The 3rd string fumbles, and he may not see the ball again all year.
What matters, and where I'd bet Dabo is entirely consistent, is that there is a conversation at the time of commitment about what is expected from Clemson and the kid in question. Those conversations are obviously going to differ from kid to kid.

did the kid say he was taking other visits? I have no idea.
And Korncoot has no idea what Dabo told the kid. He could have told him to be sure....I accept your commit, but if you take visits to other schools, you position is wide open again
