re:Clowney. was wondering how Dabo would handle this

Dec 26, 2013, 7:28 PM

i am thinking there would be some consequences. Sit for some of the bowl game at least. Not saying that would be appropriate or not. Thoughts?

I have it on good authority that Spurrier plans to punish him severely by not allowing him to play any offensive plays in the Capital One Bowl.

Almost sounds like this year in a nutshell for him.***

A stern talking to.

It's a speeding ticket or two speeding tickets.

Let it go.

Besides - he's innocent until proven guilty and the trials will be January or later.

Innocent until proven guilty?

Dec 26, 2013, 7:37 PM

I'm pretty sure the radar that was used proves him guilty in the case of speeding.

Re: Innocent until proven guilty?

Was the radar properly calibrated?

Was the officer certified to operate that radar?

Pretty sure calibration isn't an issue when

Dec 26, 2013, 8:26 PM

You're talking 25+ over the posted limit.

And yes, any State Trooper is fully qualified to operate a radar gun, as it is one of their main duties.

If you think he is innocent, you're just trolling.

Re: Pretty sure calibration isn't an issue when

Dec 26, 2013, 8:33 PM

Calibration is always an issue, and the way I read it, it was a city police officer.

using that logic, one could say 'it was just some weed'...

Dec 26, 2013, 7:40 PM [ in reply to Re: re:Clowney. was wondering how Dabo would handle this ]

and the trial has not happened yet...just saying that a couple MAJOR tix in a month might be disciplined in some programs

Pretty sure BSU sent their starting QB home

Dec 26, 2013, 7:38 PM

For being an idiot and pissing off a hotel balcony and shaming his teams and college. Pretty sure reckless driving is a little worse than choosing a bad spot to pee.

Re: Pretty sure BSU sent their starting QB home

Dec 26, 2013, 8:02 PM

The BSU QB might transfer (and sit out a year to do so) to SC, if he can beat the indecent exposure rap. Heard he wants to play for Mangus if the evidence doesn't stand up in court. He's probably hoping for a hung jury.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sounds legit.***

Not for a speeding violation, come on guys.

Dec 26, 2013, 8:11 PM

Lawadamercy, you gonna sit a kid for speeding? Take his driver's license and take him off your insurance. What? You don't pay his insurance?

the bigger question is ....Who does pay his insurance?

his superiors.

Then maybe Dabo and Clowney are tight?

Re: re:Clowney. was wondering how Dabo would handle this

Look, it's another thread about Clowney and/or the Gamecocks. This place is turning into an orange & purple version of FGF.

"Tell em coot" lmao

Re: re:Clowney. was wondering how Dabo would handle this

There's nothing for the coach to do.

What irks me is how you or I would be treated by the officer/state in the same situation.
