If he failed to keep the starting QB job, he would be the ultimate "Wildcat" change-of-pace back-up for sure.

I wonder how he would be as another running back?

Too small to block. Catching balls ala Leggett was a huge bonus. Blocking is REQUIRED!

He seems about the right size to play safety but I doubt he’s ever played defense. Maybe with a redshirt year he would have time to learn the fundamentals of the position and bulk up. Unlikely they would ask him to go in that direction, but seriously if he has desire to play pro ball that would seem to be a better chance. If he can catch, I guess he could follow the Braxton Miller path to the pros, but there’s already a deep core of receivers. Thus, I think it’s QB or bust for him.

you need to consider that Kelly Bryant is probably as heavy as he's ever going to get.
He is not going to grow into a TE, or a DE, or even a LB ...

No, he should be our new punter so we can run awesome wildcat fake punts! Remember DW's awesome punt against Alabama? Danny White was another QB who was a pretty good punter.

I doubt this is a serious thread so I'm going to take in another direction. QB is not the only position that has a large group wanting playing time. DE has a pretty crowded group looking for passing time to. I could see a couple of DEs switched to TE. They have the bulk and athleticism to block, and some of them have probably spent some time on offense. Being able to catch a pass would be a bonus, but the TE contribution to our passing game has shrunk dramatically. Give me someone that's not afraid of contact and had the demenior to knock a DE, LB. or a safety on his ####.
