FSU starts a series tonight vs. Washington for the NC. I started to think what happened to all the SEC teams because they hosted 9 of the 16 Regionals. Well, took a look and only 2 teams made it to the CWS, and both UGA and UF beat another SEC school in the Supers to get there. The only win by an SEC school in the CWS was UF beating, you guessed it, UGA. Neither made the final 4. Just saying, be prepared for the bias in hosting once softball gets going. Yes they have some good programs, but it's quite clear that the West Coast is where the best softball is being played.

Is our first season next year or the year after?

the ACC isn't very strong in softball

FSU is elite kind of on their own in the conference.

The SEC did have a big flop in the tournament. All 13 teams made the tournament (Vandy doesn't have a team).

Clemson and Wake Forest are the only two ACC schools that did not field softball teams this year. Also, it looks like Clemson is set to begin play in the spring of 2020.

Notre Dame made the tournament this year

NC State and UNC are decent sometimes. But they are not consistent. I think we can climb into 2nd in 5 years if we do things the right way.
