But Danny had wins against teams like Nebraska, Ohio St, Penn St, Oklahoma, UGA and we only played 11 games back then.

Dabo plays 15 games a year now on the reg.

Love Danny, but he basically played UGA and a bowl game. FSU and VT were in there in the end. However, both programs were rising to their 90's selves at the time.

Danny was great, but he benefited from playing in a very weak ACC the last several years he was coach. Clemson didn't play a single ACC team from 1986 to 1989 that finished in the top 20.
