It was one of the funniest/worst drops by a DB I've ever seen but Fields did and EXCELLENT job of looking for the ball early.

We Actually came out better after the punt

You hate to see a guy botch an easy pick like that, but the deep pass was about like a punt anyway.

We got a great punt return out of Rogers and gained about 15 yards from the point where Fields dropped the ball.

Maybe Field’s makes a long interception return ... I couldn’t see what sort of running room he might have had ... but we’ll never know.

Bottom line ... it didn’t hurt us ... this time ...

If you recall, McCloud often lost his awareness of the football and dropped several easy catches. I still remember that one pass in the 2nd half against Louisville a few years back that was like the turning point of the game that allowed them to come back.

If a wide receiver has this problem, don't be surprised a corner back also has such a problem.

As a long suffering JETS fan, I give him the Richard "Stone
