Don't get too excited. The SEC is already planning how to prevent CLEMSON from even being in the CFP next year, even though 13-0 and twice National Champion and having a 43 game win streak. They will deliberately allow 2 of (LSU, UGA, Bama, UF, and Auburn) to go undefeated, while hoping that they get 2 or possibly 3 in the CFP and the Big10, Big12, and Pac12 get the other slot(s). CLEMSON would have to win every game by 30+ to get in.

But to answer your question, I've never seen that happen in my lifetime, and I'm old as dirt.

Seems like Jimmy Johnson had some good Miami teams that might have come close.
*The Miami teams were good and loved to celebrate and taunt opponents. The NCAA changed a lot of celebration rules because of those teams.

Alabama, Nebraska and ND have won 3 out of 4

Yale did win 5 in a row back before the forward pass

In American college football the longest NCAA Division I winning streak is held by the University of Oklahoma Sooners, who won 47 consecutive games between 1953 and 1957. The longest FCS winning streak is held by the North Dakota State Bison who have an ongoing streak of 34 consecutive wins to date going back to 2017. Wikipedia
