despite advanced age, I still fluctuate between

Jan 8, 2017, 11:47 PM

being slightly nervous....And giving coffee the jitters.....Been that way before every big Clemson game in every sport for many, many decades.....An ex used to insist I was too emotionally invested in Clemson sports--but that can't possibly be correct....??

I'm emotionally too invested, I must admit***

Some habits are hard to break.

The first step is admitting you have a distorted reality

Too emotionally invested in CLEMSON sports???? Scientists everywhere agree that that doesn't exist.

Might as well tell me that I breath air too much.

Guess that explains the whole EX thing.

I was wearing cardiac monitor during Louisville game

Doc told me he just ignored rapid heart rate during the game. apparently, it got up to 150 at one point. he said I need to calm down, take a few deep breaths, and relax that I wasn't playing the game. guess I'm too emotionally invested as well. BTW TigerJIM76 I think I met you at a Clemson v Duke fb game one year. I had my read headed son with me. he's now a Citadel grad.

All weekend - AND TODAY - feeling (and thinking) the same way! While my wife doesn't get my 'devotion' to my Tigers, unlike Plaintiff #1 and Plaintiff #2, she still loves me and tolerates my obsession... to a point!

Funny, the two ex's are now Tiger fans too, but mainly because of the kids and grandkids!

C'mon Tigers, BEAT BAMA!!!!!

Whatever choice(s) you make makes you. Choose wisely.

My dad can't watch an entire game anymore.

He'll flip between a few channels. He can't take the rollercoaster anymore. I'll probably have to follow suit at some point down the road. I'm glad I went to the NC state game but my head was pounding when I left. Felt like I had a mini stroke.
