in their first poll. They always have and always will because at that point in the season those two polls start to shape toward meeting with reality.

You honestly think the CFP committee will rank us outside the top 4 if the AP still has us there on November 4? I don't. The CFP committee has proven to be much more objective than the "talking heads".

The committee doesn't give a crap about AP or coaches poll and never have. They look at resumes and actual facts such as wins against common opponents and big wins. The AP poll is a bunch of media idiots that follow ESPN lead.

Our schedule we be made a point of contention by eSECpn if we are again put in the top 4 teams. This is this year's battle cry for them to get a 1 lose SEC or Big 10 team in the playoffs.

ESPN (mainly Kirk) tried repeatedly to get UGA into the CFP last year as a second SEC team, but failed miserably. His recommendation was exposed when Texas took UGA behind the woodshed and whipped that Dawgbutt. The committee is smart enough not to listen to the SEC hype machine that ESPN continues to sport.

Never take the first Playoffs poll to seriously but they will have Clemson ranked top two because if needed they could justify us dropping a spot or two easier than climbing with our schedule and no way their leaving an out a undefeated conference champion.

Let's hope that Wisconsin upsets OSU, then OSU beats Penn State.
That would ensure no undefeated Big10 team.
Pull for Baylor to upset Oklahoma in the Big12,better in their championship even if it's a rematch.
Hopefully LSU and Auburn beat Bama, LSU wins the SEC over the east rep.
That would put the Tigers no worse than 2nd if we win out.

How many times do we need to see this movie before people stop paying attention this early. There will be upsets, there will be losers in big games, there will be weird conference championship outcomes, and yet we sit here talking about it like we are at risk and like there might be 4 undefeated. We are at risk if we LOSE and there won’t be all these undefeated, heck wisc and uga already lost and it wasn’t even in their big games. People were touting both of them as great teams prior, now the new sexy is lsu and osu. Relax people.
