Work with a guy that played for them during that time. He was recruited by Holtz to play LB. Even he acknowledges that they were the best of the worst (6 - 4). Had to remind another chicken that I work with that USCjr was the only SC school to forfeit an entire season due to cheating. This former player had to verify it for him because it happened around his time. That shut second guy up pretty good for a while after his comment about probation and what IPTAY stood for.

when the rest of the SEC Least was as bad as it had been at any time during the last forty (40) years.
SCU finished 5 - 3, Florida was 4 - 4, Georgia was 3 - 5 and Tennessee was 3 - 5.

They are staring down a 1-7 finish within the SEC, for DEAD LAST. FL and TN with a surging return to power. No talent. No traction with promising 2017 and 2018 recruits.
All these flavor stick of the month Head Coaches, Herman, Fuentes, et. al., will view UCS, as University of Career Suicide, at ANY contract price.
You fools may have to keep Ellis. That's good for us Tigers. We loved Sparky Woods.

That is correct. They were 6-0 in conference, 7-4 overall.

I will give them credit, they played a tough OOC schedude that year...#7 UGA, #3 Tennessee & #19 WVa, and unranked FSU, who gave them their worst lost, 34-9.
