Just wait til the XFl is settled in. They are already a heavier hitter than the AAFL, and have much more money.

I picture the football landscape to mimic basketball, if not worse. One and done might be too much for some of these kids wanting to get paid.

I don't think it is much of a coincidence the NCAA is finally looking at paying for likeness now. They need retention, star power, etc... Best product gets the most money. They aren't going to want to have all the good talent skip over college ball. They want make as much. This is a way to persuade them into some money, and a degree.

I still think most will opt for more money when/if that time comes.

Because that NCAA football video game was a gold mine and a revenue stream that they’d very much like to open back up.

Think you’re making too big a deal about the XFL and their threat to college players. So far a supplementary football league to the NFL hasn’t proved sustainable. Until that’s proven otherwise, I’m not spending a second worrying about the XFL
